Nestled between Catinaccio, Latemar and Lake Carezza, the village of Collepietra/Steinegg in the Val d’Ega offers Restaurant Astra an ideal location: in fact, gourmet cuisine tastes even better when surrounded by the nature which its ingredients are made of! When the clear starry sky above the panorama terrace suddenly lies in your plate… then food becomes a real experience!

There are several possibilities to reach the Astra in Collepietra/Steinegg:

By car or by motorbike

If you travel by car or by motorbike, from the Motorway A22 take the exit Bolzano Nord/Bozen Nord. From there you have to proceed to Prato all’Isarco/Blumau, where a turnoff leads you uphill to Collepietra/Steinegg. The Hotel Berghang and the Restaurant Astra are located on the right-hand side at the end of the road, just before the edge of the village, on the Via Principale/Hauptstraße no. 26.

By public transport

If you arrive by train from north or south, your terminal will be the Bolzano/Bozen railway station. From the nearby bus station buses to Collepietra/Steinegg run every hour – the bus stop “Oberdorf“ is right in front of the Hotel Berghang and the Astra!

Alternatively, you can reach the Astra from South Tyrol's train and bus stations as well as from the nearby airports with the ecological shuttle service "Südtirol Transfer"!
